Buyer Beware: A Cautionary Tale About BGK AUTOMATYKA

Why not buy anything from BGK AUTOMATYKA ?

We're writing to share a concerning experience with a Polish company, BGK AUTOMATYKA Miroslaw Haplyk. Our company, which specializes in servomotor repair, purchased a servomotor from BGK AUTOMATYKA with a seemingly reassuring 6-month warranty. Unfortunately, from the very beginning, it was evident that this servomotor had seen better days.

Despite our expertise in repairing servomotors, replacing bearings and encoders wouldn't be necessary this time. The initial test, a simple measurement of insulation resistance, failed dismally. Upon further inspection, upon opening the back cover, a red flag emerged - a leak of about half a liter of liquid. As if that wasn't enough, there were also broken connectors, which, based on the condition, appeared to have been tampered with before being shipped.

We contacted Mr. Haplyk from BGK AUTOMATYKA several times, hoping for a resolution. However, his response was far from helpful. He cited the broken seal on the servomotor (likely caused during our inspection to diagnose the initial problems) as a reason to deny the return.

What truly troubled us was the lack of any attempt to deny our claim that the servomotor was essentially junk. It seemed Mr. Haplyk was aware of its poor condition. While we were able to salvage some parts - the front and rear shield and rotor - after a thorough cleaning, the overall experience left a bitter taste. For nearly 1000 Euros, we received parts that barely functioned.

This wasn't our first encounter with BGK AUTOMATYKA, and sadly, it confirmed our previous negative experiences. In the past, parts purchased from them consistently required repairs, adding unexpected costs to our projects.

Frankly, selling a part from a scrapyard for 1000 Euros seems like a rather unscrupulous business practice. We felt compelled to share our story to warn others considering buying from BGK AUTOMATYKA. It's important to do your research and be cautious before doing business with this company.

Broken connectors that must have been damaged before shipping. Judge for yourself.

We did not manage to capture the total amount of leaked oil at the given moment.

Unfortunately, our technician did not capture more photos.
